With the flood of new CBD oil products on the market, there are a variety of companies to choose from. While this can also be a positive thing for CBD, consumers must be increasingly careful when buying from companies to ensure they are getting a safe, high-quality CBD product. So how can consumers be confident that their CBD oil is from a legitimate source? One of the best ways to tell is through third-party lab testing.
The CBD industry is currently self-regulated. For this reason alone, it is crucial for companies to have transparency surrounding their CBD products. With third-party lab testing, companies are able to provide an unbiased, factual report about their CBD oil. Along with CBD, the amount of THC present is important to provide through third-party lab testing. The current legal limit for THC in CBD products is 0.3%, so companies should be able to prove that they are in compliance with this regulation.
Presence of any Harmful Chemicals
Depending on the process a company uses for extraction, different chemicals should be tested to ensure any harmful solvents are not present.
