Different Ways to Take CBD: Which Method is Right for You?

Ways To Take CBD

Top 5 ways to take CBD

With a multitude of CBD products on the market, choosing a CBD product that best fits your needs may seem overwhelming. From topicals to nanogels, there are numerous ways to take CBD, so we’ve compiled a list to help you determine what product is best for you.

1. CBD Tinctures

Some of our most popular CBD products are tinctures. CBD is fat-soluble, meaning it dissolves in oil, not water. For this reason, tinctures are made with a base oil and then thoroughly mixed with CBD. Tinctures can come in many different flavors or plain (which is our “natural” flavor). Tinctures can offer a wide range of potencies; we currently offer from 200mg to 6000mg.

A unique benefit to tinctures is the ability to customize your dosage. For example, for our 550mg orange tincture, each 30mL tincture comes with a 1.0 mL dropper, delivering 18.3mg of CBD per mL. While, nanogels, a different way to take CBD, does not offer this flexibility. Tinctures are commonly taken by placing the oil under the tongue and holding for full absorption.

2. CBD Salves or Balms

CBD salves offer direct application to problem areas. Some people prefer a topical method and enjoy the soothing scents salves contain like eucalyptus and lavender. Likewise, for those who prefer not to ingest CBD, salves can be a great alternative.

Our salves are unique as they come in a roll-up packaging that allows for easy, mess-free application. Similarly, they can also be beneficial for massaging into tense areas.

3. CBD Nanogels

CBD nanogels offer ease through pre-measured dosages. In our 750mg CBD nanogels with curcumin, there is 25mg of CBD per nanogel. Although nanogels can be mixed with other things like curcumin or melatonin from time to time, they commonly do not have different flavor options like tinctures

Consequently, if flavors aren’t your thing or you are sensitive to the natural taste of CBD, nanogels can be a great option.

4. Gumdrops

The options for CBD gummies are becoming more common. If you’re looking for CBD gummies, our gumdrops provide 10mg per drop with a total of 150mg per container.

Some people prefer gummies since the CBD is mixed into other food items, and can be almost like a middle ground between oral and topical products.

5. CBD Vapes

Vapes include oil or liquid infused with CBD that is ultimately heated up within the vape pen and turned into vapor. Many like CBD vapes because they are convenient, and some report feeling the effects of CBD much quicker through this method.

Each cartridge contains a specific amount of CBD like tinctures, which allows you to customize your intake.

Conclusion

With all of the CBD products available today there are so many ways to take CBD. Further, just because one way is more popular than another, it doesn’t mean it will be right for you. Above all, we recommend trying whatever you feel most comfortable with, and switch it up if you need to.
